An ambitious concept to make danish homes smarter, transparent and contributing to the danish people towards a safer home. Goodbye BlackBox, Hello Float.
We were inspired by apple's widget system and made it into our own benefit early, so they can customise and move their modules around how they please. This resulted that they could keep iterating on their product to maintain flexibility and renewability while not making a bottleneck to the developers.
Lastly, how do you connect a 'digital world' and a 'physical world' with their device and the application? - how do you connect that medium?
We thought wireframes and 'faux pas' 2D graphics couldn't play to it's fully extend when showcasing the float device, so we went with 3D Graphics to connect that world and product.
To make the home fully smart, the devices would extend to more than just power. The importance of surveiling water and heat usage, is just as insightful and black box in your home.
Having an overview of your 3 pillars of your home, you now have a full transparency of costs, potential risks and future improvements.
The app encourages you to know the best optimisations in your household from experts and be part of a community that contributes to a safe living.
