GiveCard has grown and evolved a lot over the past few years, which led to a bit of a patchwork identity and some confusion about their public image.
The founders asked us to step in and give them a fresh, outside perspective. Our goal was to help them clearly define who they are and what matters to them, guiding them through a rebrand that would set the tone for the next chapter of their company.

The priority was to capture the audience, but to fully understand the product and the problem - and why GiveCard is the solution. To get everyone in the target audience to understand that, the message had to be clear from the beginning and not to overload the user.
To lean into the story, we built a who, what, why and how's around the wasteland of Givetopia with immersive parallax effects and interactive features that would keep the users interested, while learning. Doing this effectively would help the users to remember the product and keep a top of mind when they need the product.
It was important that these effects could work in all browsers and SEO would crawl the site effectively. Through rigorous testing and using Web 1.0 frameworks around new interactions we successfully made an interactive site that was not only environmentally friendly, but also smooth as butter.
